Pirates and President

Pirates of Wall Street have fooled us once again by walking away with almost a trillion dollars from the very government they make fun of. The amount translates to $2300 for every man, woman and child in America.

I don’t understand how they can getaway with this crap! Billions of dollars in debt, bankrupt companies, thousands of job loss, pension funds/investments totally wiped out….and, you see these CEOs, Treasury Secretary and ‘financial experts’ telling us how we all should believe them with another trillion dollars of tax payer's money! Unbelievable!

If an average person gets into a huge debt, he would be mocked for his financial indiscipline! When it happens to a big corporation, they get free money from President and Congress. There you go! Talk about powerful protecting the powerful.

Now, go and talk to any ‘free market’ Republican moron – Very surprisingly, you will see them supporting the $700 billion dollars package! You ask why? Answer – It’s called party loyalty! Smiles…

Looks like Pirates of Carribbean have moved to Wall Street. The only difference is – they have better clothing and learned to speak better language!!

Living in a politically correct world…

So, the inevitable thing happens. Salmonella outbreak is forcing many super markets and restaurant chains pull tomatoes off their shelves. For the second day, I had to eat my veggie burger without raw tomatoes!

The fascinating thing about this is the way in which ‘politically correct’ pundits in the media are covering the story.

Here is the exact quote from CNN – “Also not associated with the outbreak are raw red Roma, red plum and round red tomatoes from Arkansas, California, Georgia, Hawaii, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Belgium, Canada, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Israel, Netherlands and Puerto Rico.”

Can you believe this? Instead of pointing at the country of origin, they are listing all other countries supplying clean tomatoes!! Why do you think they fail to provide us the info as simple as this? What are they afraid of?

Ok – here is the ugly truth. These tomatoes are coming from Mexico. And, they use human feces as fertilizer down there. Nothing wrong - It’s all organic. However, it can lead to occasional E-Coli and Salmonella outbreaks!

(Salmonella is a bacteria that lives in the intestinal tracts of humans and other animals. The bacteria are usually transmitted to humans by eating foods contaminated with animal feces.)

FBN - It’s coming!!

Like it or not, Fox News network has been slaughtering CNN and MSNBC over ratings for quite sometime now. Did people get tired of CNN’s coverage? Are more people interested in ‘tabloid-like’ coverage these days? I don’t know the answer. But, it’s true that almost all shows on FNC have been killing other cable news channels.

Now, it’s time for Fox Business News Channel (FBN). Can Murdoch and Roger Ailes duo pull off another successful cable channel? I wouldn’t be surprised if CNBC is getting panic attack these days!!

The preparations have been going on for sometime now. The launch date is set to Oct 15th. I’m sure - the look and feel is going to be very different from CNBC. (More political coverage with special ‘Breaking News’ graphics??) Republicans like Brian Jones have already filled in the key positions!!
